Mike Aiello was our go-to when we decided to redo our kitchen. We have been using Mike for over 10 years in our home. So, it was an easy decision. He guided us on ideas that we implemented and gave us invaluable feedback on how to get the look and quality we wanted. We confidently trusted Mike on his suggestions and gave us guidance on what to avoid and what to consider when designing a kitchen. He communicated clearly with on us on time frames and was always available via cell phone when we had a question. I witnessed his ability to manage being both responsive to calls and engaged with the customer in front of him. His team was respectful, courteous and their workmanship was exceptional. His demeanor is calming, knowledgeable and honest. We look forward to future projects with Mike & his team. Maria & Larry K.
Mike Aiello built our dream house in Mill Neck. He did an amazing job on a very difficult build. The house is on a steep slope and has an indoor pool. The quality is exceptional and his people are great craftsman. His ability to work with the architect and engineers was key as there were so many different aspects to the construction that are not common to most projects.
I have known Mike for many years. His work on my houses have always been to perfection from start to completion. He is honest and nothing is hidden. Michael Aiello Construction will take on jobs that other contractors will walk away from. He takes pride in his work and all his jobs are personal to him. It is in my humble opinion that his company is the best of the best.
Mike Aiello did an amazing job on our new construction in Mill Neck. It was a very difficult build on a steep slope with an indoor pool. Mike's ability and experience allowed our dream house to become a reality.
We are fortunate to meet many diverse individuals in different aspects of our lives. Sometimes we are rewarded by crossing paths with a rare person whose special combination of talent, dedication, and personality set them apart from the rest. Mike Aiello is one of those people. He came as a contractor for work that we needed accomplished in our home. He finished the project as a life long friend.
Mike was always present overseeing every aspect of the work being completed while the plumber, electrician, painter and the tile installer were here. The men working with him knew his high expectations and lived up to them as well. He was never more than a phone call away whenever we needed or wanted to consult further with him. A time schedule was created and work proceeded as planned.
Pricing was fair and all costs understood specifically in writing before and during the job. In fact Mike made significant suggestions for changes that saved a considerable amount of money.
His insight into conceptualizing the entire project and the many facets, which would have to be incorporated, exhibited his wonderful creativity. He even met us at Home Depot to pick out materials that were needed, suggesting color combinations as well as an interior decorator would do.
Having undertaken major projects previously we consider ourselves good judges of quality. Mike's was incredible. He used quality materials and took great pride in his finished product. it was obvious, even on the first day of work, that he truly enjoys his trade.
Another aspect that is definitely notable is the standard of cleanliness with which Mike holds everyone involved in the project. Previously when we had major renovations in the house I wound up at a pulmonary specialist because of the intense dust created. When Mike does a job each section is sealed off from the rest of the house and at the end of each day all of the areas are vacuumed thoroughly so that no other areas in the home are affected.
Mike's success is a byproduct of many of the above-mentioned factors. Above and beyond these is his tremendous patience and ability to listen and incorporate our needs and concerns into the entire project. We are honored to have had Mike become part of our family of friends.
To Whom It May Concern,
This letter is being written as a thank you to Michael Aiello and his crew for the truly excellent job that they have recently done in our home. I have known Mike for years and have always counted on him to do any home improvement job of ours with precision, attention to detail, absolute respect for us and the house and most importantly, a true gift and talent for craftsmanship.
Our last project was a complete overhaul and renovation of the bottom floor of our house. We live in a high ranch style home with three children and were in great need of more living space. Michael came in and together we discussed the living difficulties and began to figure out answers. Mike is one of those rare people who is not only unbelievable at his profession, but cares about each job as though it were happening in his own house. He set about enclosing our garage to be used as a playroom for now; but framing it in such a way that a few years down the road it will easily be turned into extra bedrooms for our boys. The back den was completely gutted and redone with every amenity taken care of; lighting, electricity, plumbing, spackling, painting etc, in the same respectful and expedient way. Mike only associates himself with professionals who do things "the right way," as he insists that they be done and he is always there to oversee any work that he himself does not do.
During the course of the project as the downstairs became unlivable, Mike set about making sure that all of our needs were met upstairs and that he and the workers were as unobtrusive as possible, arriving when stated and always leaving the work area vacuumed and organized. I cannot tell you what a difference it makes to have this kind of consideration during construction. It kept the mess very minimal and made the whole project move along at a manageable pace.
Everything that we have ever done to our house that Michael took care of has held up beautifully. As I look around at our amazing new downstairs I see all of his efforts and am so grateful. . The beautiful stained wood doors throughout the room, the hard wood floor that he built piece by piece and the generous closets that are laid out so well that my life will now get a whole lot more organized. The two most exceptional pieces, however, are my favorite and really show
off his artistry: the custom built oak bookcase with a special heat box installed for the room complete with amazing ornate moldings and the built in office closet for my husband's home office area with the inside built to utilize every inch of space for him and with doors that open and slide back into the wall for comfort when he is working.
As we finish this project I am so excited but a little sad to not have Mike knocking on my door every morning. He is great to work with and nice to have around. Whenever he is working on a project other little things that are let go around the house start to get done as he always leaves extra time for that. As I stated earlier, every job is treated as his home and he really looks to do any improvement in such a way that it will not have to be done again. We cannot recommend him enough and feel very lucky to have had him make our home better every time he steps through the door. Thank you .
To Whom It May Concern,
I am taking the time to write this letter to inform the reader of the personal satisfaction my wife and I have received from Michael Aiello Construction. As a homeowner numerous anxieties arise when making a major renovation to your home. In our case the decision was to due extensive work to our kitchen and downstairs bathroom. We based our contracting decisions on trust and word of mouth from a friend. The recommendation was to use Mike Aiello as a contractor and you won't be disappointed. Boy was this friend right. From the onset, upon meeting and speaking to Mike at the initial meeting it was apparent that this individual was into providing detailed expert workmanship. He discussed our plan and took our needs into consideration with great care and patience. His ideas and suggestions are incredible. I have had contractors on previous work related home repairs and Mike was a unique contractor as well as a person. As the meetings progressed certain characteristics came forward in Mike that are not normally possessed by the average person. He showed Care, Honesty and most importantly Integrity in our dealings with this project. All of these attributes are undisguised.
By the time the project started I was totally comfortable with trusting Mike in our home even when we were not present. His workmanship is nothing less than magnificent and his workers or other professional people that he uses are courteous, competent and most of all under the watchful eye of Mike. As in all projects unforeseen problems arise. However I have never been spoken to in such a way, that it was a problem, but it was never a problem for to long. His experience and expert workmanship is one thing but the way he treated us went way beyond the call of duty. It reminds me of a saying I heard years ago where someone told me if you treat everyone like you would want your mother treated than you will never have a complaint. This is so true in this case.
As the work progressed in our home the worries of coexisting with the contracting crew posed a worry. This anxiety too was short lived. Mike and his workers would show up every day at a prescheduled time and would continuously work throughout the day. At the end of the day Mike would take the time to clean up and leave the home the same or if not cleaner that when he first started. His preparation work is second to none. He would keep us updated on the work done and also what was scheduled for the following day. He thought of every possible problem or scenario as the construction was ongoing.
As the new kitchen and bath started to take shape I could see my wife's excitement. It was also noted the excitement in Mike for not only creating a great piece of work but the pride of his workmanship. The final structure is not only beautiful but it is safe, and structurally sound and a pleasure to look at. We already have him looking into further projects for us in the future. I can honestly say that I started out meeting Mike as my contractor and when the job was completed I consider him a friend. We will be at the forefront to discuss and encourage any individuals that would like to speak to us further regarding Mike's workmanship. At Mike's calling my home is also open to showcase his workmanship.
